Urban imagery enables an accessible narrative style, inspired by explorers’ guidebooks such as The Passenger by Iperborea, blending theoretical analysis with participatory fieldwork inside San Vittore and direct interaction with people and spaces.
The project also extends into public space through installations shaped like interior doors, conceived as urban megaphones that expose and question the social divide, fostering dialogue between the prison and the city.
Featuring works by designers Niels Nijman Diffre & Tanay Kandpal, Theo Galliakis and Studio Noff (Daniel Garber & Amalia Magril).
Designed together with Alice Moretto.
Together with Alice Moretto, we designed the project’s visual identity using open-source typefaces. We hand-drew a custom glyph to be used as a logo or icon, selected different colour palettes for long-term projects, and adopted digital colour schemes.
Together with Studio Pietro Corraini and Ludosofici, we redesigned a playful and engaging signage system for Alpe Lusia, near Moena (TN), and Col Margherita (BL).
The walks unfold through a series of illustrated panels, each telling a different story and offering insights into the local environment, geology, and wildlife. Rather than adopting an academic tone, the content is shaped as a narrative experience, using fluid, accessible language.
Fun facts are woven throughout the path and alternated with small riddles, encouraging curiosity and observation, while carefully avoiding the humanisation of the animals.
The visual language reflects this concept by emphasizing creative freedom and highlighting the collective dimension of reading as a shared, participatory experience.
