GUIDA IMPOSSIBILE DI SAN VITTOREMILANO2024
A year long research that explores the functioning of San Vittore Prison in Milan through a multidisciplinary scientific and ethnographic approach. Using the metaphor of the urban fabric, the prison is interpreted as a city with its own spaces, dynamics, and inhabitants.

Urban imagery enables an accessible narrative style, inspired by explorers’ guidebooks such as The Passenger by Iperborea, blending theoretical analysis with participatory fieldwork inside San Vittore and direct interaction with people and spaces.

The project also extends into public space through installations shaped like interior doors, conceived as urban megaphones that expose and question the social divide, fostering dialogue between the prison and the city.
